Video element: Below you will find examples of what I wanted to include in the video element of the website:

Intertextuality: part of my intention with the home page was to include an element of intertextuality that linked to the messages of the Black Lives Matter movement for both production and online. For example, the inclusion of the BLM fist on the website promotes the support to the movement. Furthermore, the convergence of the linked page makes it easier to sign petitions and learn of the movement without having to go and research pages yourself, therefore this makes it more easily accessible for all audiences ages. However, I would have liked to have made a template of my own alike the band logo/album, but couldn't get access to the technology or help I needed to help me achieve this.

Convergence: As well as the inclusion of a linked website to the BLM movement I have also used convergence by linking my music video, including the anonymous radio interview with one of the band members, linked pages to both 'Tour dates' and a 'Gallery' page; and one last example is the linked page to 'Warner Music Group's' website at the bottom of all the pages. However, I would have also liked to have included some more linked pages to the bands social media accounts. 


The band photos - Unfortunately due to Covid-19 I was unable to get all the 3 band members together for a shoot due to the tier system and group "Bubbles", one of the members also had a vulnerable family member making it only possible to shoot with them at school. Overall, I struggled practically with making the media product, this also affects the audience perception of the band as the pictures can be confusing.

Another additional photo I took in the hope to photoshop the third member of Alex in. However, I didn't have the correct photoshop equipment to do this due to the closure of my school.
