For instance, the "three minute protest music video" has intertextual links to Michael Jacksons music video of "Black or White. For example, at the end of the video he uses multiple people of different demographics singing the lyrics of the song. It is filmed in front of a plain backdrop and all of the cast merge into each other to protest the idea that "it don't matter if you're black or white", and therefore everyone should be treated equally.
